I have a strong desire to raise my daughter and have made the decision to put my career as an elementary school teacher on hold. I am seeking a nannying position that will allow me to continue sharing my gifts as a caregiver, teacher and nurturer while my daughter accompanies me to work. I have learned that children need to be around other children to be happy. A nannying position would provide both my family and yours with a treasured playmate. I am a hands-on nanny. I cook from scratch and I clean, and I include the children in on what I'm doing when they're interested and when it's appropriate. I feel it's important for children to observe their caregivers working and doing real things. I also play in the dirt and run with your kids. I love spending time outside. Nanny Job Desired - Hi, I am 25 years old, and I have been working for the YMCA for 7 years. I worked in the childcare for 2 years, and then moved to the Y preschool for the past 5 years. I have currently been the assistant teacher in a two classrooms. One class was 21 two years old, and the other was 21 three-five years old. I really enjoy my job, but I am looking to expand, and I have always thought it would be very special to care for a family in their own home. I think it's great for the kids to feel comfortable, and of course it's hard having a new person taking care of them. But at least in their own home, they will be more at ease. I love seeing the smiles on kid's faces, when making them laugh, or making fun crafts with them. From painting, designing, and drawing to sewing, gluing, and cutting--you name it and kids love to invent new objects.
